Gelayol

Gelayol house was an exercise for a redefinition of residential architecture of Dehkade town in Karaj, which was one of the first residential town examples in irans modern era.
Thickness of the walls and lighness of roofs creating a logical volume standing on a narrow base. Monochromic colors of volume stands it out in its own landscape sorrounding with tall and old trees. The space areas, quality of space and composition of functions in a flat type of house was the challenges of design team in this project. Extruding the volume was the key element to this matter, not only providing enough space based on clients demands, but enriching the form according to architectural concept.
